About Varsity Roath

Our customers are a mix of well healed office workers out for a relaxing after-work drink to the more daring students of Cardiff University and UWIC who are up for a good time and have an ‘anything goes’ attitude to Roath’s local bar life.

Varsity Roath is spread over two floors our customers are never deprived of space to sit and eat, chat and socialise - with a choice of seating areas from comfy sofas that appeal to those seeking a more intimate conversation - to booths for small groups and parties that want to watch the match on our big plasma TV’s.

Our bar food is served hot straight from our kitchen in rapid time – so you can enjoy a pint and a bowl of chips with your mates or a more healthy deli sandwich and a glass of wine. Varsity Roath boasts a comprehensive menu including freshly baked pizza and hearty grill section.
