About Varsity Reading
Varsity Reading is based in the town centre's thriving and popular Friar Street district. Our customers are a mix of well healed office workers out for a relaxing after-work drink to the more daring students of Reading University who are up for a good time and have an ‘anything goes' attitude to Readings local bar life.
Varsity Reading boasts a dance floor area at weekends, that is used for games and activities during the week such as darts and pool, a fantastic long main bar and a private area can be booked for closer and more intimate occasions. Our customers are never deprived of space to sit and eat, chat and socialise - with a choice of seating areas from comfy sofas that appeal to those seeking a more relaxed conversation - to booths for small groups and parties.
