Varsity on Greyfriars Road, Cardiff is a busy, vibrant city centre pub that is located opposite the Park Plaza Hotel and the New Theatre. The bar is only a 10 minute walk from the Millennium Stadium.

Opening at 9am with breakfast served until midday, Varsity is the perfect place for breakfast and lunch meetings. We offer free WiFi and can provide screens for presentations if required.

From 11am until late evening you can order from our menu - from our famous Varsity hot melts with curly fries to the 3pm 'Two for a £5' menu, there is something on our menu to suit everyone. If you only have an hour for lunch you can call us on 02920232562 before 11am and pre order your lunch.

We also have a great kids menu and families that are dinning are welcome until 7pm. High chairs and baby changing facilities are available and visually impaired and brail menus are available on request.

In Varsity, customers are never deprived of space to sit and eat or chat and socialise. With a choice of seating areas, ranging from comfy sofas that appeal to those seeking a more intimate conversation, to booths for small groups and parties that want to watch the match on our big plasma TV’s, we've seating to suit all needs!

Varsity is the best pub in the city to catch all live sport. We boost 10 plasma screens and two big screens. Tables can be booked in advance and we also offer some great VIP sport packages with table service available. We're always fully booked for rugby matches so book in advance to avoid disappointment! Dart boards and our fantastic football table complete the sport experience.

Thursday – First Thursday of every month plays host to the pub quiz and the last Thursday of the month is open mic night.
Friday's & Saturday's – from 8pm our resident DJ's play and promise to keep you partying until 1am.
